Cadillac spindles????????? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I was told that you can put spindles from a full size Cadillac, or a Caprice. Bigger GM cars on our style trucks. And the benefit would be there would be factory drop spindles.

I looked at a 69 chevy truck and the guy selling it told me that is what he had put on his to get disc brakes, and a drop.
Well I figured I would come to ask the "wizards of oz"

if this is true and if anybody has tried or know of somebody doing this swap?????? If this is true that would be a cheaper way of dropped spindles.
