For me, no, not at all. I have never had a desire to build an all original vehicle; car, truck or otherwise. To me, in that sence, keeping the "blood line pure" would result in a bone stock rebuild or restoration. Not what I want from my toys.

I don't look at it from a money point of view either. I look at it from a "what do I do here to make it like I want it?"

For most, I don't think there is as much of a need to hodgepodge. I think panhandler62 said it best:

I rather lean towards keeping the rarities fairly pure and having fun with the rest.
