ok this is weird, are these drop spindles, and are these rear coils?

im going to attach like 5 or so pictures

do these look like drop spindles?
do these look like rear coils? (theyre pigtailed on top and cut on bottom)
this isnt the stock shock mount is it? looks like he welded it back on 1.5" higher.

ok, i dismantled the drivers side susp today. im thinking the previous owner took the stock rear coils, hacked them, then he stuck them in the front with a 1" rubber spacer on lower arm (must have been too low).

now the front is HAMMERED, at least a 5" drop, maybe 5.5" is it possible that these arent drop spindles and i was driving around with 5" worth of drop coils?. i mean the coils are WAY short. i did a comparision with the height of my bags and it appears to me that these might not be drop spindles.

the upper arms were shimmed out alot and there was still a good ammount of negative camber.

now the amazing part of this ghetto rigged susp... IT RODE LIKE A DREAM. yep i bought this truck back last nov and it rode smoother than my brand new 2001 s10 blazer daily driver (blazer was stock susp then, now its lowered and rides like a brick)

if these are in fact rear coils and those arent drop spindles then this may be a neat trick to getting a 4" drop or so (dont cut as much to geth 5" like my truck had, or you wont be able to align it properly).

anyways check out the pics and try answer my questions up top.
