Dave I was thinking about doing this myself-you should have no problem finding a later model fan at a wreckers(or a two fan setup) this will save a little power and make for a faster engine warm-up - great for those cold winter days ahead- any factory electric fan should have a thermostat control, it would probably just require figuring out the electrical end of it- if you can get a wiring schematic for whatever donor vehicle you get the fan from or if you're good with electrical you might be able to figure out what wires go where just by tracing them back- it should be power, ground and thermostat hook-up (don't quote me on that!) as near as I can figure, anyway. As for mounting it to the rad, it will probably mount on the engine side (pulling air through), I don't think you're going to be able to use your factory shroud, there won't be enough room. I want to do this one myself, it's on my growing list of things to do. Let me know how you make out on it. Thanks, Lewis
