i have 31x18.5x15's on the back of my truck along with 3:08's for rear gears, needless to say it doesnt use the BB power all that well. now it does cruise nicely but has very little get up and go. im not looking for "pull the front wheels" power but i do need a bit better acceleration when pulling out on the streets here in phoenix. so anyways..........
i check craigslist every night and there was a guy looking for a 3:08 rear for his sons 68 chevy, come to find out the sons rear had 4:10's in it here in a couple weeks we are gonna swap rears with each other !! (man i should reword that a bit diffrently )
so i should have the get and go like i want and since the truck is used very little im not all that worried about gas plus i still dont have the rear tires balanced so i dont go over 35/40mph anyways.
