Post What would i gain and loose by switching cams...

Right now i have a Blue Racer (made by Crane) cam in my truck. The specs are:

Intake/Exhaust duration @.050 lift:204/214 Adv. Duration: 270 280
Cam lift: 280 .295
Valve Lift:.420 .443
Lobe Centerline: 107 117

The cam has alot of tourqe in the 1500-3200 RPM range, but around 4200 RPM it really starts to run out of steam. My engine is a fresh 350, stock heads, Edelbrock Performer intake and carb, HEI, and headers. I was thinking of switching to a Comp 268H cam.

Its specs are:
Gross Valve Lift: .454 .454
Duration At 0.006 Tappet Lift: 268 268
Duration At 0.05: 218 218
Lobe Separation: 110

Would the cam switch gain me any power, or give me a unnoticable amount of power, and worse MPG? The truck is used as a daily driver, and mileage is importaint.

My Daily-Driver: '72 Chevy LWB Custom/10. Rebuilt 350, roughly 300 HP thanks to a mild cam, Edelbrock intake and carb, headers, and 40 seires Flowmaster mufflers. Ochre with a white top. Plans as of now include a bigger cam, lower gears, and lots of body work.
