Re: Anybody running a Demon Carb instead of an edelbrock?
Just a thought here, but is your edelbrock an electronic choke or manual? I recently unhooked a few wires in my cab to install some BO stuff and I forgot to plug the other stuff back in. My truck ran good, but would not "idle down." It was running at 1000-12000 rpm at idle and about 900 in gear Not good! I remembered my unplugged wires (one of which was the power lead for the electronic choke). I plugged the wires back in and the idle dropped to 700 and 500 in gear. Much better! Maybe your choke isn't hooked up, getting power, or is not functioning properly?
Just a thought. Good luck with the Demon. I've always wanted to try one out.
