T-5 gurus help!
I need advice on installing my T-5. It's out of an '88 S-10 and while trying to mount it on the bellhousing I discovered what I think is the input shaft collar is too long. It's alot longer than the Saginaw 3 speed I have, but yet the overall length from the mounting point to the tip is within about 1/4". It appears that the collar hits the clutch disc and so the trans is about 2" from bolting up. What do I do now??? Has anyone else run into this?
Brad
