Unhappy Need help bolting motor to tranny!

Well, I got my new motor in but can't get the damn thing to snug up to the tranny bellhousing. It's a regular ole 350 and TH350. I think I put the motor mounts back in just like they were but there's about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch in b/t. If I try and tighten the bolts, I can no longer turn the flywheel. The flywheel bolted to the TC just fine. Anyone got pics of their SBC motor mounts (old style)? I only hand tightened my mounts until everything's adjusted. This and my PS bracket are all I really lack. Help?
