will a stroke fit in a 72

if you ever wondered if a powerstroke will fit in a 72 truck, it does. it is tight and i still have more work ahead of me and alot of cleaning on the motor, but it does fit and i did sit the cab down over and there are clearence issues with the transmission touching the firewall. and the turbo touches the firewall. so i lifted the cab up 3 inches and it all clears. so you could cut into the firewall, but if its a lifted truck you could do a body lift. im going to add a 2x3 box tube across the top of the frame and raise all body mounts up to match. and adding the box tube and a nice new crossmember under the motor and i think it should have plenty of stregnth. but i first need to finish my 2wd shorty, got my new 468 going in soon. so i need to get my frame blasted and reassembled first.
