Need expanation of dash harness diffs between 72 truck and 72 burb
Ignition wiring in my 72 burb shorted and detroyed switch and harness connector. I have a 72 truck harness to replace it with. Main question is rear light wiring. Trucks connect on the firewall and run along framerails. Burbs connect (i'm not sure where) and run up thru pillar and along driver side roof. What incompatibilities am I in for? Is it plug and play (brn, yellow lt green and dk green use same male connector as trucks), or would you suggest just spicing the ignition wires on existing harness to a new connector and use new switch?
FYI, burb is in CT and I'm in NH so I can't go look for myself right now, so please help.
