4 bbl conversion question

I recently converted from a factory 2 bbl to an edelbrock performer and edel. 4 bbl q-jet. on my 76' cheyenne w/ a 350ci. My question is did the different carbs use a different throttle/kickdown bracket mounted on the intake???
If i use the 2 bbl bracket i have to really stretch my k-down and my throttle is about 3/4 open if i attach my throttle to my current bracket. Any expertise is greatly appreciated. Thanks Matt.
