Steering problem

I've been having an intermittant steering problem. Sometimes I'll take a corner from a stop,( Either direction) when I return the wheel to go straight, the truck will lurch to the opposite direction as if a ghost yanked the wheel a 1/4 turn.

It's strange, I'll start heading straight and then a quick jolt, then straight again.

I just had new tires put on ( coincidently right before this started)
but can't find any evidence of tampering- but they tried real hard to sell me an alignment I knew was not neccessary.
I also have 2- Rancho steering stabilizers on the truck- Oh= It's a 72 Blazer 4X4

If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it
Thanks
