My trucks got a 2500 stall now....

Since its gotten cold my trannies been slipping when I first put it into gear. I got to rev it to 2500-2800 to get it to move. I checked the fluid....its fine, could use a changing though. But the fluid level is in the happy spot and it doesnt smell burnt. Its been doing it almost everyday since its gotten cold. But after it warms up or I drive around awhile its seems fine.

I dont know a lot about auto trannys....are these the early warning signs of an ailing tranny getting ready to go out?

All I can tell you is its a TH350...and it feels likes its got a shift kit.

Also...since this has started to going on, my speedo dont do that "jumpy" thing any more when I accelerate.

Thanks,
Mitch
