is it pointing to the #1 cylinder...as in on the engine... or the terminal that holds the plug wire that runs to the #1 cylinder.

no you not going to make me feel stupid at all. I want to get this truck running so i can get back to work. I have the motor sitting at TDC. Where do i put the rotor. To the #1 on the cap or to the # 1 cylinder?
