Rustoration of my '71 Suburban

Hello all,

Im an European (the Netherlands) Suburban owner.

I bought the burb obout 1.5 years ago in reasonable driver shape with some rust, a worn out interior and with a crack in the windscreen.

To keep the burb "road legal" according to the dutch laws I had to swap the windscreen. After a few months of surfing on the net I found a used one near by.

When I took the old windscreen out a piece of paint came of also.
Looking a bit more carefull I saw more rust than I was hoping for.

So I decided to start to restore the windscreen section. HERE are some pictures of my work.

As you can see more weak spots came up. So thats what I'm dooing this winter So Santa..
