Question 1980 K-2500 Gmc with electrical problem

My truck is an 80 Gmc when you are driveing with out the headlights on and step on the brake the brake lights and the insterment lights and the turnsignals on the front all come on. but the turn signals work, As soon as the lights come on i have no left turn signal no brake lights, but the right turn signal works. And nomatter what i do my hazards done work. There is a rats nest of wires behind the dashboard and my steering wheel is lose at the tilt colum. Any help would be apresiated. I replaced a fuse it worked fine for about an hour and now it is back to being broken. The fuse hasnt poped.
