Group Buying

Hey Everyone,

This trailing arm discussion got me thinking. But does this message board consider group buying? I know a lot of us are in the process of building/updating our rides and probably will need/want similar equipment, with sales people typically run on monthly/quarterly commissions I'll bet we could get better pricing "deals" on occasion. Similar to " if we get 10+ people to commit to buy X, we will get it at this type of price"?

I know I'd like to get a deal on a Painless Wiring set up or a Vintage Air/Old Air unit as both are in my immediate future. I know those are a couple of bigger ticket items but I'd bet we get better pricing if a group of us committed to it. Maybe even put together a Board "wish list" with the number of members considering certain parts, send it out the vendors and ask for a special price for 30days provided we meet a certain minimum number of orders and they don't ship until it's met.

Anyone interested in something like that?
