Re: Life advice
I learned my trade in the Navy in aircraft maintenance, however, if I had to do it all over again, I would definitely go into the Air Force.
Reason #1: The Air Force treats their personnel much much better. They live in Dorms not racks on a ship or some run down barracks. Their "Galley" is a friggin restaurant and the food actually tastes remotely like it should. Reason #2: The equipment the airforce has is well maintained, not rusty hand-me-downs and ridiculous worn out tools. Reason #3: Military protocol is a little less strict. Make an informed decision and don't believe all the hype your recruiter says.
