Octane????

I have a 68 stepside with a mystery 327. She runs great since I bought her and came with a lil bit of goodies. Headers, Edelbrock Carb, performer intake and after market Hei were found under the hood. I was wondering what Octaine I should run in her. The guy I got her from wasn't mechanically inclined and just put gas in it. When I got her I put in chevron and drove her 90 miles home at 70 all the way. I took a chance broke water pump, leaking radiator, belts were off alighnment, bent fan, no shroud, wrong gap plugs, but I still drove her on a summer night in central cali home happy....I got most of the corks out she has a lil tapping of the rockers but will take care of that soon. She runs strong but I want to preserve the engine as much as I can so I can focus on body, frame and suspension mods (drums all the way around). I'm going to fit her in the rotation of my other two cars, figure I'll drive her every last day of my work week no matter what. My 3 year old daughter already wants me to drive everytime were hanging out and I do plan on taking her to local and posibly a few times to the costal shows 3 hours away this spring and summer. What ocatain recommended on posibly stock 327 with bolt ons.....?
