New guy from the High Desert CA

Just checking in to say hello and great site, my trucks are a 1976 GMC Sierra Classic 2500 long bed, dual tank, 2 wheel drive 454, Turbo 400 tranny, A/C this baby is tough as nails. The lady I bought it off of gave me a job interview about buying it because she wanted it to go to someone who would take care of it because her passed away husband bought it brand new off the lot and just loved the truck. She was picky but sold it to me, some other guys wanted it for construction work and she said NO WAY ! I use it to pull my race car and trailer (dual axle open center) This truck is a keeper and I'll never sell it. The other one is a 1986 Silverado short bed Red with red interior, 305 with a 700R4 tranny dual tank 2 wheel drive with A/C. My older brother bought it off the dealer lot brand new, she's tired but still runs good (needs a valve job) with over 350,000 miles on it and the tranny rebuilt and a few odds and ends like a starter, water pump, timing chain but a good truck that's a keeper too. Again nice to be here on the site. Thanks Rich
