Lightbulb Me, my 71 and a bunch of students?

So I am a high school teacher here in Toronto Ontario Canada and we have been working on the 1971 C10 fleetside for 4 years now. It was found in a field by my home and had sat for 18 years. It took my son and I 6 hours to dig it out. My students and I have stripped it to the frame and rebuilt it from there. It is a 5 year project and most will see it on the road when they graduate. We have shaved the entire cab, rain gutters, door handels, dash, cowl, and firewall. We hope to paint the cab next month, then start a year of rebuilding.

I'd love to hear from other teachers doing projects like this.

P.S. I'm not an autoshop teacher, but spend every spare min in the shop.
