Panhard bar and Shortened bed????
Had the truck up on the rack this am, damn its good to be back drivin her after 4 months apart!
Bear with me, and I am still learnign about our trucks! I noticed that the panhard bar in my truck is non adjustable. has an upwards angle tho. Rear of the truck is lowered 6inches on springs, was going to throw the bags in today, and realized that I dont have an adjustable panhard bar, so Im a bit concerened about using the bags with what may be a std bar. Does anyone have a measurement end to end or center to center on the stock bar so I can compare? Secondly, while deciding that I really need to remove the frame and blast and powdercoat it, I noticed that behind the cab, there is a section that looks welded. There is a slip style brace welded to half the frame and has three bolts on each half. total of six bolts, in two small triangles. The frame was either fully welded and the brace bolted inside, or thats just how they are stock. any ideas? If it was in fact shortened, Im pullin her apart and throwing the chassis on a jig and making sure its square, then of course need to powdercoat and freshen it all up! lol Thanks in advance guys!!! Will
