I need to know if the manual trans cross members are the same for three and four speeds? I've found a x member in a 67 3/4 ton I6 four speed(granny) and want to know if it will work with my V8 bell-housing.I was told that the three speed trucks didn't use a x member but had plates that bolted between the frame and the bell-housing. thanks
