Engine information
Hey all i was looking to find some info about on my motor. I know i've got the 396bb with oval port heads. But i dont know much else. I looked around a li'l bit on the engine for numbers etc and found a stamped number: 10603XH that was located just behind the water pump on the pass of the block. Does that number indicate anything? or where should i look for more information no my engine? i've got vin and glove box numbers but i dont really know. Thanks for the help,
