67-72 truck on car frame?

Has anyone put their truck on a pre-72 GM car frame. I'm talking an Impala or caprice? Thinking about the lowered stance with a car ride.

I'm wanting to chop, secton and channel a 67-72 cab and mount it on a car frame. I'll fabricate a way to mount a tubbed short bed and truck front clip
