Frame Help
I have a SWB 62 truck that I'm starting a quick restoration on. I also have a 1985 Chevy LWB parts truck for it's front suspension and a nice 63 big window cab, media blasted, and metal work complete.
Now for my question. I want to use my 63 cab and ditch the 60-62 suspension. Am I better off finding a 63-66 frame and add the suspension? Or will a 67-72 frame work with a 63 Cab? Is it possible to use a 73 and up frame with the 63 Cab? I don't mind modifying the frame some to get the cab to fit. I'm just looking for the quickest and most cost effective way to get this done. Thanks for the help.
