Need Directional Switch Removal Help

Working on my '72 C-10, 3-Speed Manual, Column Shift Truck. Trying to take out the directional switch.

I have off:

The steering wheel and parts, 3 switch screws, and the directional lever.

Trying to find out what's next. The 4-Way Flasher knob seems like it is in the way and I don't believe it screws off like some other vehicles will do. I see 2 prongs holding down what seems to be a part of 2 parts. I tried separating them, but I don't want to force anything too much.

Of the many I've taken apart before, mostly on cars and older trucks, I've never seen one of this design.

Any info would be appreciated.
