4x4 ride improvments

Ok, in a attempt to make my truck ride better I have removed the stock 3/4 ton front springs and replaced them with Tuff Country 2 1/2 lift springs of the soft ride type. Now I have a truck that is lifted and rides worse. So, what would you do to make it ride better? I have even considered a coil conversion using a system simalar to the f@*d radius arm design. Its not that I am a wimp or anything, I just want my old truck to cruise down the road like a new one What about a custom set of front springs? Also, I was reading in another post about it being possible to swap in the stock coil spring set-up in the rear. Anybody try this in a 4x4? Thanks
