Another!! (mine)

Selling out my recent saved projects to lighten the load on family. I sold a great 72 4x4 swb, was posted on here, sold to guy 19 hrs away (different advertisement source). Sight unseen cash deal except for pics and he flew in and drove home. Sold a parts truck and my beautiful original 69 swb local too. Will sell this 72 in link above and move on. I almost always price it right and sell to 1st guy/gal that comes to look.

My experience here on boards is trucks rarely sell to each other. I did buy and sell my blazer here. Most are looking for smoking deals. I haven't seen one of those here or elsewhere for 2-3 yrs. I do see lots of fairly priced trucks and many overpriced. If you truely want a truck to drive, fix up and enjoy they are out there. Many of us can tell the truck, muscle car deal stories of years ago. Be careful though in evaluating these things. What would $1000 invested 12 years ago be worth today in reasonable risk investment? Much of the increases I see can be viewed as inflation. Sure our trucks are more popular now but they made a ton of them. Only rare high option trucks or good restored ones may make sense as investment. This is a little removed from subject but I it felt fit well enough to post. My opinion on my truck is that it is a great deal for someone looking for something like it. Sure we would all love to pick it up for $800 but I never see that any more. I am being reasonable and trying to get most of my money back on the ones I have let go. I try to buy the best truck I can afford for the needs I have.
