The value of original

What is your opinion of the value of the original carb? I can find a couple with the correct number (Quadrajet) but I don't know if it really adds value in the long haul. I would like this truck to be as correct as possible without trying to make it showroom new...A LA Barrett -Jackson. It will be driven, but it will be clean...cost is about $500.00, and I could easily rebuild the Holley that is on it, but I am curious what the panel thinks.
