steering box question

I got a good question i'm having a problem with the steering box i have the problem i'm having is when i make a right hand turn i seem to not have a tight turn but on the left hand side it gose a little further i think i have 2 3/4 turn on the right and 3 turn to 3 1/4 and i like it to have 3 1/2 on both sides of my 1965 3/4 ton truck put it out of a 1977 3/4 ton suburban some have told me to get the corvett steering box
