Finally fig'd the prob... Blazer pics to go!
I finally figured out why I couldn't post these... Problem solved. Anyway, here is my 71 blazer! It is in the garage now awaiting full restoration. I decided to do a retro/modern restoration. I will pull the body and strip the frame soon. Some highlights:
Frame will get filled in and powder coated, along with axle housings, along with anything else I can powder coat. All new suspension (6")& steering (box, pump, lines, linkage)& plumbing for brakes and fuel xfer case removed and rebuilt donor Corvette L98 TPI motor w/91 blazer 700R4 awaiting install along with all of the electronic sensors, etc (no smog of course) body completely massaged (not shaving anything)... Late model Blazer seats procomp gauges etc, etc, etc. when it is all done, it will be sprayed in hugger orange many, many times... Top it off with 35" BFG's and it is good. My goal is to keep it under $10k for everything. I will be doing 85% of the work. I will update with pics and things when progress is made. Project will start in January.
