Quick Question

This summer I should have a few extra dollars coming in and I'd really like to start work on my engine. It's an original 1972 5.7L SBC and I was wondering if any of you could recommend some reliable performance parts vendors for me. I have a few ideas but I'd like to hear from people who have had first hand knowledge of what's worth the money and what isn't. I'm looking for stuff like cylinder heads, intake, cam and crank and maybe some lower engine block pieces. Or if you think I should just leave the thing stock, that's cool too.
