Clutch rod rubbing on headers

All,

67' LWB 283 3 Speed Saginaw. Gotta pair of Hedman HED-69092 full length headers. The clutch rod rubs on the rear pipe below the 90. Anyone else have/had this problem? Any cures, like an 'offset' cluthrod or maybe pounding a dent in the header to make space???

Thanks,
JD
