new guy here

Hey everyone , ive been checking out this sight for a week now and its getting me motivated to get my truck back on the road! For the past 5-6 years its been sitting in the garage collecting dust and being used as a storage/work bench. It just needs a few things to be running , driving again (wheel bearing , radatior , rear brakes) and after that im planning on doing the cosmetic stuff . Since im on a tight budget its not going to be a show truck but rather a cool lookin driver , oh yeah i guess i should tell you guys what it is , its a 1955 2nd series shorbed stepside and ive had it since i was 16 (1990) . My first car and ive refused to get rid of it . The subframe was done in the early 90's and its mini tubbed w/a ford 9" (i ran an 80's s-10 before that ) . Currently it has a 350 w/3 twos and a four speed . hopefully i can post some pics as soon as i make some progress .

cool site , nice truck , thanks for the motivation

Brian
