Rust? and Sanden brackets

Ok, I keep hearing about this "rust" thing...

Ya see, I was outside in shorts today, crawling around on the floor of the garage looking all over my truck for it... I had a sweatshirt on, as it was only about 70 out, but it is supposed to heat up this weekend...

So anyways, I looked all over for this rust thing, in all the spots I read about it on the board... nope, none of it.

Is rust something I need? Can I import it from someone in another part of the country? It sounds like I need to get some just so I can fix it!

On the flip side, I sprung for a Sanden 508 compressor and need the bracket to fit it to the engine... anyone know where to get a decent one?

Thanks!
