Those metal glove boxes are great..... When somebody gets the A/C one done, post a pic. The comment on getting valuables stolen is definately a reason for the install, but my truck doesn't have a lock on the glovebox, so that's a wash(wish it would lock--- a lock and a metal glovebox liner would make locking up my carry gun alot easier when I went to "pistol-free" areas)

As for liner ideas.....

1. Plasti-Dip or Tool-Kote, whatever the manufactures wants to call it.... It comes in colors, can be brushed on, and is smooth like the handles on the 2 dollar pliers. Plasti Dip is also available aerosol.

2. Duplicolor makes aerosol spray bedliner material, but it would take a few coats to get it thick enough. It's not overly- abrasive, either

3. Dynamat X-treme... It has a foil cover, is self adhesive, and for 15 or 20bucks you could cover the bottom and lower parts of the sides.
