slicks, drag radials or street tires?

So now that the motor is punchy regular tires just aren't getting.
I know that slicks are ultimately the best traction. I'm comtemplating going with one of two setups. Running drag radials all the time as I only drive the truck 2-3 times a week for about 60 miles total. The second option is to just by new regular tires and by some slicks and mount them on another set of rims just to play around with and or to take to the track.

Opinions??
