Rear Spring Schackle bushing - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I'm putting a lift on my Jimmy, I've got the rear apart. The original rear spring shackel bushings are toast. NAPA can't get them. I called a special spring manufacturer in town, he says he's got the bushings but they will be crushed when pressed into the shackle, he recommends buying new which he charges $45 per side. I see LMC carries them, for much less by the way. Just wondering what others have done? What other alternatives do I have? And were else can I buy them?
