Question Difference between longbed and Longhorn?

I recently posted a couple of pics of my truck. While doing that, I was playing around with photoshop to see what the truck would look like as a shortbed. I noticed that the length between the back of the rear wheel opening and the end of the bed looked awkward. I compared it to other pics and realized that it looked to be about 8-10" longer than the same area on a shortbed. I know a longbed is longer than a shortbed, but I thought the extra length was between the front of the bed and the rear wheel opening. Is a Longhorn bed longer in both areas? Can I be anymore confusing? I hope this makes sense to someone. Thanks in advance for the replies..........................sixnine.
