lining up after the z'

I have zd the front 4 inches on my 87 gmc. I am going to lower the rad support 4 inches. If i measured correctly things will line up.Front fenders to the cab. I am gonna throw the cab onto the frame soon and get the first view of it sitting on the cement, really excited. Is it a good idea to maybe just tack the rad support into place after lowering it and hang the fenders to the cab and see if everything is lined up. I know that you will say it should if u measure right but if i weld it all up in the front and it doesnt line up then what. lol lol thgis way i can cut the tacks and make sure it lines up.
