Project "Texas Pete" has begun...

Well I started my build, or should I say the destuction. I will be doing a 3/5drop, with 88-98 six lug disk brakes and 2" drop spindles. I will be going with a semi-flat black for the paint, with 15" rallies and wide whites. I have McGughys springs and spindles, eveything else is from ece, Track bar kit shocks and relocating brackets, body mounts, and bushings, as well as a van tilt column so far.

Body mods will include Shaved side markers, hood emblems, cowl, antenna, and gas tank relocated under the bed.

The truck is getting a frame off and the chassiss will be getting treated with POR 15 in semi glosss black.

As far the project I named it after my brother Pete who gave mme the truck, he is not in very good health and I hope to have it done before he isn't around anymore, and where he purchased the truck and lived for years. Its a bit of a dedication.

Here are some pics of what I started with, I already removed the grill and shaved the hood emblems.
Enjoy
