3/4 ton crossmember - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

This is my first post, so please bear with me.
I am getting ready to convert my th400 to a 700r4 from bowtie overdrives. I am going to order their full kit including the crossmember. I need to know if the crossmember from a 1/2 ton is the same in a 3/4 ton. My truck is a 71 c20 big block 2wd. The crossmember in it is the low style with the e-brake cable routed on the back of it. The crossmember that they sell is designed for a 1/2 ton truck and the guy wasn't sure if it would fit my application. Sorry for such a long post and thanks for any help you can give.
