Inner fender coating...what to use?

I just finished cleaning the old undercoat off my inner fenders and am impressed at how well this has protected the metal for all these years...both inner fenders are perfect! This will be Friday night cruiser so I am considering doing the shake and spray undercoating again. Other options would be Rhino Liner or some comparable product. When I stripped the old material off I used a little too much heat in a couple of spots and took it down to the bare metal. Should I sand and paint before undercoating?
