New bolts/cab mounts

Questions...I am disassembling my 72 to prepare to shorten my frame...During disassembly I have noticed some of the bolts are rusted up a bit (front end of truck is all aftermarket fenders, inners, etc)..The PO used the old bolts...Is there a trick to reconditioning these bolts, or pay 50.00 bucks and get a bolt kit...If buying the bolt kit is the best option, anything to stay away from?

Also, can I reuse cab/core support mounts or will I need new ones when I start re-assembling? Any particular cab mount you would recommend?

Thanks for the input...
