Picking up the cab

I picked up the new cab yesterday. It was a hard decision to replace my rust bucket because it has been with me a long long time, but it was the right one. (notice the aluminum foil patch on the old cab..)

I have another dash that I'm going to use to patch the radio cut out.

Question: It's a 71 cab for my 72 truck. Would you use a 71 mirror (mounted on ceiling) or a 72 mirror (mounted on windshield)? Are there any other differences between the 71 and 72 cab that I should look out for?

I should have washed it before I took pictures. That's just North Florida pollen on the roof.
