Plug Wires and Distributor Cap Question

So, a couple of questions about the my plug wire and dist. cap/rotor replacement...

Plug Wires:
I got a set of 8 Bosch wires. All wires have 90* boots on both ends except 2. The second shortest wire and one of the longest ones have a straight boot on the plug end. Is this right? Should only 2 have a straight end? If so, which plugs do these 2 wires go to?

Distributor Cap:
The new cap and rotor kit came with a small package of what I assume is di-electric grease? If that's what it is, where should this be applied? Just on the exterior spade connectors to the coil - or inside the cap as well?

Any suggestions here?
