Kick Panel Vents - an idea whose time has passed?
OK...why do we have kick vents?
I am thinking of welding the top of mine shut (below cowl), covering the place where they are penetrating the cab (opening with door by your feet) and then putting speakers in that boxy type of area. It would be sealed form the elements (leaves rain etc) I rarely open mine. I use the vents in the winter and summer and run the A/C in the winter... I have stock A/C....and I know that the passenger vent is supposed to open when the A/C is on to bring fresh air in. Am I way off on this one? What think ye?
