I guess I am now officially a "Junky"

I was walking in to work today and where I park is a block away from work and this guy yells, “Hey man, nice truck” (he is leaning against his 72) So I yell back, “hey you too!” he says, “If you think this truck is nice, boy have I got the deal for you. Cheap”

Details:

350/350 body very rough and engine fresh, tranny solid, GMC 2 wheel drive ¾ ton long bed, Interior ok. Newly hung exhaust, power steering, power breaks,

He cry’s, gambling dept. no job, retired marine, disability, bla bla bla. While I inspect the title, everything is ok.

While I’m driving it he tells me, “First $500 takes it” and ask him if he has any dope stashed in the dash or anything. He says, “Nope, never touch the stuff”

I get out and kick the tires and tell him I’m not in the market and ho hum around a little and then say $400.00

He cusses and spits and grumbles yells at me “$450.00 you @ss hole!”

I say “$400.00, and you got the cash in 15 minutes”
He cusses and spits and grumbles yells at me, “Fine! But don’t cut it up or anything!”

Wow, 4 hours later and I’m still in shock. I keep thinking, what Am I going to do with another truck. An then another voice says so the ‘f ’ what, have fun with it. I guess I better quit refering to GMC's as "Gay Man's Cruser" now, LOL… Pete
